Reflecting on all the time I wasted.

Toward the last few months of 2021 I did some self reflecting. Honestly it was one of the most depressing thought I’d had in awhile.

Here’s why.

I’ve done so many things and I’ve finally never mastered anything. It took my until 2020 to truly know what I wanted for myself. Guess what I told myself it’s never too late to start.

I will say my optimistic attitude did kick in and I got on my shit. Anything that doesn’t work out it wasn’t meant to. I took those negative thoughts and used them to change anything that didn’t bring value to my life. It’s amazes me all the time how much I get done in a day.

I’ve made a commitment to myself to achieve my goals. One of them being getting my Bachelors degree in business administration! I’ve just started my journey and currently enrolled to start classes March of 2022.

So let’s rewrite wasting my time. To learning and embracing your journey to the goal.

This year is about my finances, and investing into my future. It’s never too late nor should you ever give up on wanting more for yourself. If it’s not growing it’s dead and that’s a scientific fact.

Planning for the future today. One of the biggest things in my life right now is financial freedom. I want to take ownership of my time, finances, and retirement. I’ve always said that I wanted to retire early in life and be able to spend the time that I need with family my own business etc.

One of the biggest accomplishments I’ve made so far into the year is creating my Roth IRA savings account. I’ve been so motivated to think about the future and then share the best for me and my family. Retirement isn’t something that should wait it should be saved for everyday. No shade to anyone but I don’t want to be 65 and still working and barely making it. It’s exactly the opposite and that’s why I’m saving.

Changed habits now are lessons learned later.
