Do what you love. Money will come.

Have you ever noticed that when you chase something it tends to run away from you? That’s how I felt about money, relationships, friendships, and more. When you actually understand it takes time for the best results to happen life looks a little different.

I was doing a client and he asked do you love what you do. Of course, I said yes and told him I do my own nails, everyone else nails, facials, and waxing too! He said it’s nice that you enjoy your craft because he noticed how focused I was and the excitement I have during our appointment.

Then I realized anyone can do anything but can you stay consistent, stick with the ups and downs, and still stay in love with the craft?

Before and After Manicure By Author

I started doing nails in 2016 but didn’t get consistent until 2019. Since then I’ve never looked back but to get better than I was yesterday.

Patience is key, consistency is the rule, and effort is the result. I give 100% to anything I do and I put energy into my passions. Nothing is easy or by coincidence, you have to put in work, and time for your dreams to come true.

For most of my life, I thought if I didn’t get it right the first time it was never going to happen. I never understood how I was so motivated and ambitious but nothing ever worked out. Until I took some time to reflect and come to realize I was the one holding myself back. The blame game doesn’t work in adulthood. So I make no excuses, and I do what I’m supposed to.

I use to obsess over money and found myself in the rat race. I understand now that’s I wanted the money fast and easy. Never thinking about the long term and what will make me happy. Nowadays I plan for the next 3–5 years. How your spend your time now will show what you’ll accomplish in the future. Just don’t give up! It's you vs you and no competition.

Enjoy the present it will be great memories of the past. Be excited about the future. All the time you’ve spent to better yourself isn’t in vain.

Life is a lesson so be grateful for every mistake, it was to make you stronger. No matter the obstacle, stay true to your passion. You can and you will!

Moral of the story. Be you. Plan for the future. Focus on the mission. Enjoy the moment. Money will be the least of your worries. Diligent hands are wealthy. Abundance will flow and opportunity will come but will take work!
