30 days of writing, and here’s what I’ve learned.

I understand now why English was my favorite subject growing up. I always enjoyed using my thoughts in communicating it on paper. Writing, researching and using my brain is so stimulating. I feel like I’m tapping back into something that was always there but I ignored it.

So I officially make one month of writing and honestly it’s me versus me. I understand that skin care isn’t something that is super popular here on medium but it’s my passion. I want to be able to reach anyone who needs to hear something that can transform into the best version of you. I even remember not having anyone to help guide me in my skin care routine or the specific problems that I dealt with and I want to change that. Starting this blog made more than just writing or money. This was about transformation and confidence for anyone when it comes to having beautiful skin.

This is personal for me and I Take pleasure in being able to freely express myself the writing. That’s why I started this in the first place. Honestly it would be great if I could get everyone to read my articles but I understand that one day they will be appreciate it. I have faith that all of my hard work will be beneficial to someone and also bring in an income for myself. Win-win.

Here’s what it looked like for me 4 weeks agains

Here is how we look a few weeks later.

It’s not bad for a newbie. I know that there are other people with better results than me but guess what it’s me versus me. What can I do you next month and the month after that that’s what I’m concerned about. I found that documenting is what motivates me to continue on my journey in writing.

I’ve learned so much about patients and consistency. My goal was to write an article every day but honestly some days I did not feel like it or I was too much into other projects I have. But I make sure every week I write at least 3 to 5 articles. Plus I am always thinking of a new blogs ideas to write about. Plus as I write more I’m starting to enjoy it more and how liberating it is to express myself.

Moral of the story is if you want something done you have to do it. The goal is to not give up and to continue to outperform yourself and no one else. I am so thankful everyone who reads and even follows me!
